Will My Source Store Data Be Safe During Migration?
Yes, your source store data is completely safe. Migrationpro only reads your data and copies it to the target store. Nothing in your source store is modified, moved, or deleted.
How the Process Works:
Read-only connection – Migrationpro connects to your source store in read-only mode. We never write to, modify, or delete anything in your source store.
Data Mapping & Transfer – Your information is carefully processed and transferred to the target store. The original records in your source store remain exactly as they are.
Source store stays live – Your source store continues operating normally during the entire migration: customers can browse, place orders, and log in without any disruption.
What About My Target Store?
Only your target store receives new data. If you chose the "Clear target store data" additional option before migration, only then will existing data in the target store be cleared, your source store is never affected.
Can I Keep Selling During Migration?
Yes. Because migration is a copy process, your source store remains fully operational. Any new orders placed during migration can be captured afterward using Recent Data Migration.
