What Does Demo Migration Include?
Demo Migration transfers up to 10 items per entity, including:
Products
Categories
Customers
Orders
Coupons
Blog posts / CMS pages
Any other entities selected during setup
This gives you a representative sample of how your full migration will look in the target store.
Is Demo Migration Free?
Yes, completely free. No payment is required to run a Demo Migration.
The only time a cost applies is if the number of entities you migrate during the full migration exceeds your purchased entity limit.
Can I Run It More Than Once?
Yes, you can run Demo Migration as many times as you need.
Note: Running multiple demo remigrations may create duplicate items in the target store. To avoid this, use the Target Store Data Reset option before re-running the demo.
How to Start Demo Migration
Open the Shopify app and log in to Migrationpro
Create a new migration and connect your Source store
Select the entities you want to test
Choose any additional options
Click Start Demo Migration
Results will appear in your target store within minutes.
What Happens After the Demo?
Once you're happy with the demo results, you can proceed to purchase and run the Full migration directly.
