What is Recent Data Migration?

Need to sync new orders, products, or customers after migration? Learn how Recent Data Migration works, when it's free, and how to run it as many times as needed.

Recent Data Migration lets you transfer newly added data, products, customers, orders, and other entities from your source store to your target store after the full migration is complete. It's ideal for keeping your new store in sync right up until launch.

Is Recent Data Migration Free?

Yes, as long as the recently added records are within your purchased entity limit. If not, you'll only be charged for the excess entities. You can check how your entity limit is calculated here.

Can I Use It More Than Once?

Yes, you can run Recent Data Migration as many times as needed before going live. This is especially useful if:

  • Your source store is still receiving new orders

  • You want to sync your target store as close to launch as possible

How to Start Recent Data Migration?

  1. Go to My Migrations in the Migrationpro dashboard

  2. Click Recent Migration

  3. Choose the entities you want to migrate

  4. Click Start Recent Data Migration

Using a CSV-based store? (Squarespace, GoDaddy, Amazon, or BigCartel)
