To connect your CS-cart store to Migrationpro, you need to upload the mp_connector file to your store's root folder:
Fill in the Source Store URL field in the Migrationpro dashboard and download the Connector Bridge file
Unzip the downloaded file and upload the entire
mp_connectorFolder to your PrestaShop store's root folder using FileZilla (free FTP software) or cPanel. Your FTP credentials (Host, Username, Password, Port) from your hosting provider.
Once uploaded, visit
your_store_url/mp_connector/connector.phpYou should see a "Connection succeeded" message
Where to find your FTP credentials: Log into your hosting panel (cPanel, Plesk, etc.) and go to Files → FTP Accounts. If you don't have an FTP account yet, create one there. You can also check the welcome email from your hosting provider - FTP details are usually included.
How to Connect via FileZilla?
Open FileZilla and fill in the Quickconnect bar at the top:

Port | 21 (or 22 for SFTP) |
2. Click Quickconnect. Once connected:
Left panel = your computer (Local site)
Right panel = your server (Remote site)
In the right panel, navigate to your CS-Cart store's root folder (usually /public_html/ or /www/). You'll know you're in the right place if you see CS-Cart folders like app/, design/, var/, and the main index.php file.
3. Unzip the downloaded file, then drag and drop the entire mp_connector folder from the left panel to the right panel in FileZilla (into your store's root folder):

4. After the successful connection to the Source store, click the "Next configure your migration" button to proceed:
*When you upload the mp_connector to your web server, you are giving our migration tool permission to access and read data from your store.
