The API key is used to authenticate applications with Wix API.

Once the API key is set up for your account, applications can access and read your data, like adding new products, updating orders, and more.

This article will show you how to find your Wix API Key for starting the migration.

Getting API key from Wix Admin panel

Firstly, log in to your Wix Admin Dashboard. Then click your account picture at the right top side, and click <code>Account Settings</code>

Then Click <code>Generate API Key</code>

- Fill in The name field
- Check <code>All permissions</code> checkbox
- Click <code>Generate Key</code>

Then Click <code>Send Code </code>

After that, check your inbox, copy the code, paste it to the corresponding field(1) and click <code>Verify &amp; Generate Key</code>

Copy the API key and paste it to the corresponding field in MigrationPro Dashboard and click <code>Check Connection</code>
