By default, WooCommerce generates new order numbers after migration. If you want to keep the original Order IDs from your Source Store, you’ll need to activate the “Preserve Order IDs” additional option during migration.
⚡ Note: This is a paid additional option in MigrationPro.
Step 1 - Enable the “Preserve Order IDs” Option
During the migration setup, select the Preserve Order IDs option (paid).
This ensures your Source Store order IDs are transferred into WooCommerce.
Step 2 - Install the Plugin (Free)
After the migration is complete, install the free WooCommerce Sequential Order Numbers plugin.
This plugin allows WooCommerce to properly display the imported original Order IDs.
Without it, WooCommerce will continue generating new order numbers.
